Objectives of Tree Trust of India

  1. Along with developing research center, teaching center, training center and awareness center for the protection of traditional tree species for tree conservation and promotion, construction of seed sheds and nurseries based on modern methods.
  2. To give concrete shape to the concept of sustainable development by establishing new dimensions of ‘Green Revolution’ to solve the problem of global warming and climate change.
  3. From the introduction of the ‘Green Wall of India’ to planning and implementation, forming a form of public movement so that the project can become employment-oriented and nature balance.
  4. To conduct ‘Aranya Tirath Vikas Abhiyan’ to give original form to ancient forests and to find new opportunities of livelihood by developing new forests.
  5. To conduct “Banyan Revolution” to plant the National Tree Banyan to every corner of the country and to create means of livelihood through research programs on it.
